About the Audi S5

Audi Sport has become synonymous with producing track-inspired performance variants that have been perfected for the street. The Audi S5 Sportback features sleek styling and premium refinement combined with inspired performance. On the exterior, the S5 Sportback stands out with its available animated OLED taillight, contoured full LED headlights, and quad exhaust outlets. Beneath the hood, a 3.0-liter TFSI® twin-scroll turbocharged V6 engine produces 362 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. This allows the S5 Sportback to rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in a blistering 4.3 seconds.

Inside, you'll find a comfortable and tech-focused interior. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and four-zone climate control all come standard. The MMI® infotainment system is state-of-the-art, complete with OLED screens for crisp and beautiful graphics. There's even an available passenger-side screen. What's New For 2025

2025 marks a new generation for the S5, as well as the A5 that it's based on. The bodywork is completely redesigned, with a sport-focused look that is at the same time reminiscent of - and an evolution of - the previous generation. To go with this is a completely redesigned interior as well, which focuses on cutting-edge technology, including the latest OLED screens and an available head-up display. The S5 still comes with a 3.0-liter V6, but it has been given a power boost that includes a big bump in torque, which you'll notice in the quicker 0-60 time.

Audi Sport Styling

Although derived from the popular Audi A5, the S5 Sportback offers a distinctly sporty look. Exclusive to the S5 are S model specific front/rear fasciae and side sills, body-colored trunk mounted rear lip spoiler, and distinct exterior lighting. Aggressive body lines are complemented by the S model quad exhaust outlets. Standard 19-inch 5-spoke double-V design wheels mounted on summer performance tires give the S5 a bold stance. 20-inch wheels are also available, with a choice of three designs.

Dynamic Performance

Experience the 362 horsepower from the 3.0-liter TFSI® twin-scroll turbocharged V6, capable of accelerating from 0-60 in only 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 155 MPH. The turbocharger is an F1-derived "hot-V" configuration, which makes for a more responsive turbocharging system. This is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with manually selectable gears, via the steering wheel-mounted shift paddles. This makes for lightning-quick shifts, perfect for those twisty roads that are so much fun to tackle in the S5. And when you accelerate out of a turn, you'll notice the quattro® rear sport differential actively shifting torque between the rear wheels as needed for optimal performance.

Sport suspension comes standard on the S5, giving you incredible stability and handling in corners. If you're looking to take it even further, there is available adaptive sport suspension, which reacts to changing conditions, and can also be adjusted via the drive select menu. This menu also gives you control over a whole range of engine, steering and transmission settings, letting you customize your driving experience.

Race-Inspired Interior

Once you grab hold of the three-spoke multifunction flat-bottom sport steering wheel with shift paddles, you'll immediately feel the rich Audi motorsport heritage found in the S5 Sportback. Heated leather sport seats come standard, as does four-zone climate control, so you can maintain a comfortable temperature no matter what your passengers want. The 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and 14.5-inch MMI infotainment touchscreen both use OLED technology for crisp, bright, and easy-to-read graphics and text. You can even opt for a 10.9-inch passenger-side screen, so you can delegate things like selecting music easily. This is important, because the 810-watt Bang & Olufsen 3d Sound System deserves only the best playlists. This system features 20 speakers, including four integrated into the front headrests.
